Deaconess Kentucky Specialty Clinic is seeking a highly motivated Outpatient Psychiatrist to help grow outpatient behavioral health services in Hopkinsville, KY. This role offers strong clinical and administrative support in a collaborative, multidisciplinary environment. Compensation & Benefits: \n

• Year 1 guaranteed base salary: $350,000
\n
• Sign-on bonus: $75,000
\n
• Additional earning potential: Psychiatrists typically earn $400,000–$500,000+ based on productivity
\n

Practice Setting: \n
\nThis outpatient role focuses on psychiatric evaluation, medication management, and ongoing treatment in a team-based setting that includes:\n

\n
• Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioners (PMHNPs)
\n
• Licensed therapists providing individual outpatient services
\n

Key Responsibilities: \n

\n
• Perform psychiatric assessments and diagnose mental health conditions
\n
• Develop and manage individualized treatment plans
\n
• Provide medication management and follow-up care
\n
• Collaborate with PMHNPs, therapists, and nursing staff
\n
• Supervise PMHNPs as needed
\n
• Provide co-signatures for therapists
\n
• Maintain accurate EMR documentation
\n
• Participate in case conferences and quality initiatives
\n
• Follow ethical, legal, and regulatory standards
\n

Call Responsibilities: \n
\nJennie Stuart Medical Center operates a 12-bed adult inpatient behavioral health unit.\n

\n
• Weeknight call: approx. once every 2 weeks (5:00 p.m. – 8:00 a.m.)
\n
• Weekend call: approx. 1 in 6 weekends
\n
• Duties include intake triage, admission orders, and inpatient rounding on weekends
\n

Qualifications: \n

\n
• Board Certified or Board Eligible in Psychiatry (MD or DO)
\n
• Eligible for Kentucky medical licensure
\n
• Outpatient psychiatry experience preferred
\n
• Strong communication and teamwork skills
\n
