Custodian II

The Arc Oneida-Lewis Chapter is seeking to add a Custodian II to our Facilities Management Department! In this position you would be responsible for ensuring that the building is properly cleaned daily and is left in a secure manner at the end of the day. You would work closely with the Custodian Coordinator to perform all necessary cleaning tasks.

Responsibilities:

• Perform floor stripping, waxing and buffing as scheduled.
• Clean offices, restrooms and hall daily as scheduled.
• Supervise and assist building custodians where appropriate.
• Instruct custodian I on proper usage of cleaning chemicals and machinery where appropriate.
• Maintain and order supplies as needed.
• Secure building at the end of the work day.
• Report all damages to building to immediate supervisor.
• Coordinate and schedule inspections, etc. of building and cleaning procedures.

Qualifications:

High School Diploma or GED and 1 year experience in a custodial field

Valid NYS Driver's License
