Housing Specialist

Assist individuals and families in locating, securing, and maintaining stable housing Conduct virtual and in-person housing assessments and intake interviews Coordinate with landlords, property managers, and housing programs to secure housing opportunities Maintain accurate documentation and case notes using digital case management systems Support clients in understanding rental agreements, housing responsibilities, and tenant rights Conduct follow-ups to ensure ongoing housing stability Collaborate with internal team members and external partners to provide wraparound support services Attend occasional in-person meetings, property visits, or community events within the servicing county Perform light travel and driving for housing-related appointments or community outreach Requirements Must reside in Sacramento County or the surrounding Northern California region Valid driver’s license Reliable transportation Ability to travel locally as needed Strong computer literacy Comfort using cloud-based platforms, databases, and communication tools Excellent interpersonal, organizational, and communication skills Passion for helping others and promoting community well-being Prior experience in social services, housing support, or case management is preferred but not required Real estate license is not required Core Competencies Demonstrates expertise in housing support and case management, with strong skills in conducting assessments, maintaining documentation, and collaborating with various stakeholders to ensure client housing stability.
