Why This Opportunity Stands Out: Climate-controlled shop for year-round comfort Consistent schedules with built-in long weekends Work on high-quality, varied metal components rather than repetitive production tasks Available Shifts: 2nd Shift: Monday Thursday, 3:30 PM 2:00 AM 3rd Shift: Friday Sunday, 6:00 AM 6:00 PM Key Responsibilities: Set up and weld components for sheet metal products using MIG welding as the primary process and TIG welding as needed Secure parts and assemblies using fixtures, jigs, and holding tables Work with carbon steel, stainless steel, and other specialty metals Read and interpret blueprints to ensure precise specifications are met Use precision measuring tools such as micrometers, calipers, and gauges Troubleshoot weld issues and maintain high-quality standards throughout production Qualifications: Proven experience with MIG welding on carbon steel and stainless steel is required TIG welding experience with carbon steel, stainless steel, or aluminum is preferred Fitter/Welder experience is a plus Ability to read blueprints and accurately use measuring tools Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills Basic computer skills and effective communication abilities Physical Requirements: Ability to stand, bend, squat, and climb for extended periods Ability to lift and move materials up to 50 pounds, with lifting devices when available Ability to work in tight or confined spaces as needed
