We’re looking for responsible, enthusiastic, and outgoing team members who are comfortable supervising and engaging with children in grades K–5. AndrewsCamps is hiring Afterschool Camp Counselors for the 2026–2027 school year ! We’re looking for responsible, enthusiastic, and outgoing team members who are comfortable supervising and engaging with children in grades K–5. This is a great position for college students, aspiring educators, coaches, or anyone who enjoys working with kids. Supervise and actively engage with children in grades K–5 Lead games, sports, crafts, and other activities Help create a fun, positive, and inclusive environment Ensure camper safety and follow program procedures Assist with snack time, transitions, setup, and cleanup Communicate professionally with children, families, and other staff Help manage groups of children and encourage positive behavior Schedule School Year: Monday, Tuesday, Thursday & Friday: approximately 1:30–6:00 PM Wednesday: approximately 11:30 AM–6:00 PM Schedules may vary depending on school calendars and program needs. There may also be opportunities for additional hours during school holidays, non-school days, and summer camps , when AndrewsCamps operates from approximately 9:00 AM–5:00 PM . Qualifications Enjoy working with children and bring a positive, high-energy attitude Responsible, dependable, and comfortable managing groups of kids Strong communication and teamwork skills Previous experience working with children is preferred Experience in camps, childcare, coaching, teaching, recreation, or youth programs is a plus Must meet applicable California childcare licensing requirements Compensation Starting at $20/hour , with pay based on experience and qualifications.
