This Senior Care Physician opportunity in Spring Hill, Florida is built around a relationship-based model where quality takes priority over volume. With smaller patient panels, longer appointments, and a highly supported clinical environment, physicians can focus on proactive care, thoughtful decision-making, and meaningful long-term relationships with the seniors they serve.

Position Highlights

\n

\n

\n
• Monday through Friday clinic schedule, 8:00 AM-5:00 PM 
\n

\n

\n

\n
• Patient panels intentionally capped at approximately 500
\n

\n

\n

\n
• Average of approximately 12-13 patient visits per day
\n

\n

\n

\n
• 30-minute routine visits and 45-minute new patient appointments
\n

\n

\n

\n
• Dedicated time built into the day for care coordination, follow-ups, and unscheduled patient needs
\n

\n

\n

\n
• Phone-only call rotation approximately once every 6-8 months
\n

\n

\n

Practice Environment

\n

\n

\n
• Physician-led, value-based primary care model dedicated to adults age 65+
\n

\n

\n

\n
• Approximately three Medical Assistants per physician supporting clinical and administrative workflows
\n

\n

\n

\n
• Dedicated MRA coder for each physician, plus centralized billing and medical records support
\n

\n

\n

\n
• Center Manager and regional clinical operations support at the practice level
\n

\n

\n

\n
• eClinicalWorks and Epic platforms, with continued transition toward Epic
\n

\n

\n

\n
• On-site diagnostic services and common outpatient procedures supporting comprehensive senior care
\n

\n

\n

• Compensation structured with base salary, review bonus, and clinic performance bonus

Candidate Requirements

\n

\n

\n
• MD or DO in Internal Medicine, Family Medicine, Geriatrics, or a related primary care specialty
\n

\n

\n

\n
• Board-Certified or Board-Eligible
\n

\n

\n

\n
• Active Florida medical license or ability to obtain one
\n

\n

\n

\n
• Primary care, managed care, value-based care experience, or completion of an Internal Medicine or Family Medicine residency
\n

\n

\n

\n
• Strong clinical judgment and communication skills
\n

\n

\n

\n
• Passion for building meaningful, long-term relationships with senior patients
\n

\n

\n

\n
• Collaborative, team-oriented approach to coordinated care
\n

\n

\n

\n
• Interest in improving outcomes through proactive and preventive medicine
\n

\n
