Description

American Traveler is seeking a Respiratory Therapist (RRT) with 2+ years of experience and an active Ohio RRT license for a night shift hospital position.

Details

• Night shift schedule with 3x12-hour shifts from 18:30 to 7:00
• Weekend shifts as needed
• May float to other facilities within the health system including Avon, Euclid, Fairview, Lutheran, and Pulmonary Main Campus

Requirements

• Minimum 2 years of experience as a Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT)
• Active Ohio RRT license required if applicable
• NBRC certification required, active and in hand at time of consideration
• BLS certification required, active and in hand at time of consideration
• 1 year of combined permanent experience in the specialty for Ohio locations
• One professional reference from a manager, ANM, supervisor, or director in the applicable specialty required, from an assignment worked within the past 12 months

Additional Information

• Work as part of the respiratory therapy team supporting patient care across multiple hospital locations
• Expected to work every other holiday
• Smoke-free and nicotine-free facility with no exceptions
• Negative 10-panel drug screen including nicotine (cotinine) required within 12 months of start and updated annually
• COVID-19 vaccine required with medical or religious exemptions only
• Flu vaccine required with medical or religious exemptions only
• Background check findings of any kind will be reviewed by the facility, though license-related findings are not accepted
• Local candidates accepted at the same bill rate
• Permanent and per diem candidates may not return to facilities within the health system for 1 year from their previous end date
• Assignments may be extended up to 18 consecutive months, after which a 6-month break is required before returning to the health system
• First-time travelers are not accepted for this position
