About the role:


Four Seasons Hotel St. Louis is seeking a Director of Food and Beverage to lead our exceptional team in delivering unparalleled service and unforgettable dining experiences. We are looking for a visionary leader who inspires others, fosters a positive and collaborative work environment, and is committed to cultivating a culture of excellence. The ideal candidate is a dynamic and passionate professional with a deep love for food and beverage, an innovative mindset, and the ability to elevate our culinary and beverage offerings to new heights.

What you will do:
  • Provide overall leadership and strategic direction for the Food & Beverage Division, ensuring long-term growth, profitability, and exceptional guest experiences
  • Lead, mentor, and develop Food & Beverage leaders and teams while upholding Four Seasons cultural values and service standards
  • Oversee budgeting, forecasting, labor management, purchasing, and inventory control with a focus on financial performance and creative revenue generation
  • Maintain a strong, visible presence throughout the operation, building meaningful relationships with guests, regular patrons, and internal partners
  • Collaborate closely with the General Manager, Executive Chef, and Planning Committee to design menus, wine programs, and amenities that balance quality, innovation, and value
  • Ensure consistent compliance with Four Seasons standards, policies, and local regulatory requirements
  • Foster strong communication and collaboration across departments to support seamless hotel operations
What you bring:
  • College degree preferably specializing in hotel/restaurant management or business administration, or equivalent experience is required.
  • Five to seven years previous experience in multiple food & beverage department head positions.
  • Proven experience leading large-scale Food & Beverage operations within luxury or upscale hospitality environments
  • Strong financial acumen with hands-on experience in budgeting, forecasting, and cost controls.
  • Deep operational knowledge of food & beverage service, guest experience standards, and team development.
  • Requires reading, writing and oral proficiency in the English language.
  • Successful candidate must possess legal work authorization in the United States.
