Job Description
Registered Nurse - Intensive Care

Schedule:
Days, 12 hours, 36 hours per week

Assignment Details:
Contract Length: 5 weeks
Guaranteed Hours: 36 per week

Requirements:
- Current nursing license
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
- Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification
- Previous experience in an intensive care unit (ICU)

Roles & Responsibilities:
- Deliver coordinated nursing care for patients according to established standards of care.
- Utilize critical thinking and independent judgment to assess and intervene in patient care.
- Supervise and direct nursing staff in the provision of patient care.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to coordinate patient treatment.
- Monitor and evaluate patient conditions and progress during care.
- Provide education and support to patients and their families regarding treatment and care processes.

Compliance / Notes:
- Background checks and drug screens may be required.
- Orientation to unit protocols will be provided.
