Qualifications: Education/Certification:
- Master's degree in educational administration
- Texas principal or other appropriate Texas certificate
- Certified Texas Teacher Evaluation and Support System (T-TESS) appraiser
- Extensive knowledge of curriculum, instruction, assessment, and accountability systems aligned to the Texas Essential Knowledge and Skills (TEKS)
- Strong understanding of the Texas A F Accountability System, CCMR indicators, graduation requirements, and college and career readiness expectations
- Knowledge and implementation of High-Quality Instructional Materials (HQIM) and Research-Based Instructional Strategies (RBIS)
- Ability to lead school improvement and campus turnaround initiatives using strategic planning and continuous improvement systems
- Strong understanding of Positive Behavioral Interventions and Supports (PBIS), restorative practices, and student support systems
- Ability to analyze and interpret multiple forms of student achievement and performance data to improve instructional outcomes
- Ability to evaluate instructional programs and teaching effectiveness
- Ability to coach teachers and instructional leaders to improve classroom instruction and student engagement
- Ability to manage budget, personnel, and campus operations effectively
- Ability to implement district policies, procedures, and operational systems

Major Responsibilities and Duties: Instructional Management
- Monitor instructional processes to ensure that instructional practices, interventions, and campus programs are aligned to campus goals, TEKS, HQIM implementation, and Texas accountability expectations.
- Lead the implementation and monitoring of rigorous curriculum, High-Quality Instructional Materials (HQIM), and Research-Based Instructional Strategies (RBIS) to improve student achievement and CCMR outcomes.
- Utilize diagnostic, formative, benchmark, and summative assessment data to identify instructional strengths and gaps and implement targeted corrective actions and intervention systems.
- Provide instructional resources, professional development, and coaching support necessary to accomplish instructional goals and improve teacher effectiveness.
- Establish clear expectations for staff performance regarding instructional delivery, student engagement, classroom management, Positive Behavioral Interventions and Supports (PBIS), academic rigor, and communication with stakeholders.
- Foster collegiality, collaboration, and team building among staff members while promoting professional learning communities focused on continuous improvement.
- Encourage active staff involvement in campus planning, decision-making, and instructional improvement processes.
- Solicit regular input from campus-level committees regarding planning, supervision, operation, and evaluation of campus educational programs. Include students and community representatives when appropriate.
- Build and communicate a shared vision for school improvement focused on high expectations, academic achievement, CCMR readiness, graduation success, and positive student outcomes.
- Lead campus turnaround efforts and continuous improvement initiatives designed to improve student performance and increase campus accountability ratings under the Texas A F Accountability System.
- Establish measurable campus performance objectives aligned to district goals, accountability indicators, CCMR targets, and campus improvement priorities using the site-based decision-making process.
- Monitor campus progress toward performance goals using multiple data sources and implement strategic interventions to address identified needs.
- Ensure fidelity of implementation for district instructional initiatives, intervention systems, PBIS frameworks, and campus improvement plans.

- Implement proactive systems and supports that address student attendance, behavior, academic progress, mental health, social-emotional learning, and graduation readiness.

- Comply with district policies and all state and federal laws and regulations affecting schools and educational programs.
- Develop and administer campus budgets based on documented program needs, strategic priorities, and projected enrollment while ensuring cost-effective operations and responsible stewardship of resources.
- Compile, maintain, and file all required reports, records, and documents, including accurate and timely attendance, accountability, and compliance reports.
- Manage campus facilities and operations to ensure a clean, orderly, safe, and supportive learning environment.
- Oversee campus safety procedures, emergency preparedness systems, and operational protocols to ensure student and staff safety.
- Direct and manage extracurricular, co-curricular, and intramural programs, including the management of multiple activity funds and student organizations.
- Ensure effective supervision, monitoring, and operational oversight of all extracurricular and co-curricular activities including athletic events, UIL competitions, band performances, fine arts events, student organizations, and school-sponsored activities.
- Ensure compliance with UIL rules, eligibility requirements, district policies, and state regulations related to extracurricular and competitive programs.
- Coordinate with sponsors, coaches, directors, and activity leaders to ensure student safety, appropriate supervision, transportation procedures, event management, and positive student participation during all extracurricular activities and events.
- Monitor extracurricular programs to ensure alignment with campus expectations for academic achievement, student conduct, sportsmanship, and organizational excellence.
- Select, train, supervise, support, and evaluate campus personnel and make recommendations regarding assignment, retention, discipline, and dismissal.
- Observe employee performance, conduct evaluations, and provide timely feedback through the T-TESS process and other district evaluation systems.
- Coach teaching staff and instructional leaders using the T-TESS framework and evidence-based instructional practices to improve teaching effectiveness and student outcomes.
- Support teachers and staff in identifying professional growth opportunities aligned to campus priorities, instructional needs, and accountability goals.
- Develop leadership capacity among teachers, instructional leaders, and campus staff through mentoring, coaching, and collaborative learning opportunities.
