CNC OperatorTurn precision into performance—operate advanced CNC equipment, craft quality parts, and showcase your manufacturing skills!What's in it for you?Elwood Staffing associates are eligible for a comprehensive and competitive benefits package plus an exclusive savings program, including:Medical/Vision/Dental/Rx plansHoliday PayTeladoc (online care)Referral Bonus IncentiveWeekly Pay401kAnd More!CNC Operator Details:Temp-to-Hire position$20.00 to $25.00 / hourFull Time work availableWeekend work requiredFirst Shift (Monday through Friday from 07:30pm to 04:30am)Set up and operate CNC press brakes, CNC laser machines, and manual sheet metal equipment.Read blueprints and work instructions to produce parts within required specifications and tolerances.Inspect finished parts using calipers, micrometers, gauges, and tape measures to ensure accuracy and quality.Perform machine changeovers, adjustments, basic troubleshooting, and preventive maintenance as needed.Complete production/quality documentation while maintaining a safe, clean, and efficient work area.CNC Operator Qualifications:High school diploma or equivalent and previous sheet metal CNC/manufacturing experience required.Hands-on experience operating CNC press brakes, CNC lasers, or similar fabrication machinery; machine setup/changeover experience preferred.Strong mechanical aptitude and basic math skills, with ability to read blueprints/prints and use calipers and tape measures accurately.Forklift certification preferred/required by the job specification; previous experience with manufacturing tools and equipment expected.Applicant may be subject to a background checkPre-employment drug screen is required as a condition of employment*A conviction record will not necessarily prevent you from being employed.
