Digital Strategy Director, Oncology - Evinova

Digital Strategy Director leading oncology clinical development innovation at AstraZeneca's Evinova division. Responsibilities

• Serve as trusted advisor to AstraZeneca R&D and product teams, developing digital strategies and operating models aligned with development portfolio
• Define problem statements, solution options, and vendor selection criteria for digital solutions including patient recruitment, remote monitoring, and eCOA platforms
• Optimize clinical trial designs to reduce costs, accelerate timelines, and improve patient experience while maintaining scientific quality
• Lead pilots and implementations of digital health technologies including feasibility studies, vendor due diligence, and change management
• Build expertise in AI applications across clinical development and translate between business and technical teams to embed AI into operational processes

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree minimum; advanced degree in life sciences, engineering, or data science preferred
• 6+ years clinical development experience with demonstrated digital health application in healthcare settings
• Oncology and/or hematology clinical development expertise with knowledge of combination strategies and next-generation mechanisms
• Strong AI capabilities and understanding of AI's role in drug research and development
• Proven project delivery and communication skills with ability to build trusted partnerships
• Hands-on experience contributing to clinical protocols where digital tools inform endpoints or data collection
• Experience building, evaluating, and implementing digital health solutions with regulatory and technical knowledge

Compensation: $203,709.60–$305,564.40 base annual
