You’ll play a pivotal role supporting students with mild to severe communication needs, including those who benefit from Augmentative and Alternative Communication (AAC) devices. Key Qualifications:

• Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology and active state licensure (or eligibility)
• Previous experience working in school settings preferred
• Skilled in working with students presenting a wide range of needs, from mild to severe
• Demonstrated knowledge of AAC devices and technology integration
• Proven ability to manage multiple school sites efficiently as an itinerant SLP
• Strong grasp of IEP regulations and compliance procedures
• Excellent communication, collaboration, and organizational skills

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct thorough screenings, evaluations, and diagnoses of speech, language, and communication disorders
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans aligned with students’ IEP goals
• Provide direct therapy services and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams—including teachers, specialists, and families
• Monitor progress, adjust interventions, and ensure compliance with special education laws and practices
• Train and support staff in implementing AAC devices and communication strategies
• Travel efficiently between assigned sites, organizing a flexible approach to meet varied student needs
