This is an hourly position. Overview POSITION SUMMARY: Assists physicians with performance of invasive cardiac procedures, serving as a radiologic technologist and/or scrub assistant, performing hemodynamic monitoring and procedural charting. Assists in the care, transportation and preparation of patients. Qualifications REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS: Education: High School diploma or G.E.D. required. Licensure/ Certification: Licensed in Radiology by the State of Illinois Division of Nuclear Safety (IEMA) Requires Registry from ARRT CPR certification required. Other Skills/ Knowledge: Knowledge of diagnostic radiology principles and procedures as acquired through completion of 2 years training in an approved school of radiologic technology required. General computer knowledge. PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS: Education: Successful completion of EKG arrhythmia course preferred. Licensure/ Certification: Successful completion of ACLS preferred.
