Sustainability Waste Coordinator

Job Title : Sustainability Waste Coordinator Location : Stanford, CA Duration : 6 months Pay Rate : $31/hr - $35/hr (DOE) Duties include Support waste operations across R&DE properties, including service rightsizing, vendor coordination, waste diversion and monitoring performance. Support strategies to reduce landfill waste, increase diversion, and support donation, reuse, and material recovery programs (e.g., Give & Go, surplus donation). Track and analyze waste metrics, prepare reports, and identify operational improvements. Design and develop signage, outreach, and communication of sustainability programs to relevant stakeholders. Coordinate with Facilities, Housing Operations, and other units on operational sustainability needs. Perform other duties as assigned to support R&DE’s sustainability goals. Bachelor’s degree and two years of relevant experience, or an equivalent combination of education/experience and excellent communication skills Requirements Two years of relevant experience, or an equivalent combination of education/experience.
