RN – Level 2 Cardiothoracic (Contract)

Location: California 95240
Contract Duration: 13 weeks (April 27, 2026 – July 25, 2026)

• Pay: $2,084 – $2,338/week

• Schedule: 3 x 12-hour shifts (36 hours/week; up to 48 hours straight time considered)

  • Shift: Rotating Days/Evenings/Nights

  • Hours: 7:00 AM – 7:00 PM / 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM

  • Rotation: Weekends, Holidays, On-call, Callback, Charge as needed

• Provide competent Level II cardiothoracic nursing care under Nurse Manager direction, following established standards and evidence-based practice

• Care for thoracic, foregut, plastics, burn, and pulmonary hypertension surgical patients, including step-down post-op cases

• Monitor telemetry, manage complex lines/tubes/drains, and respond to changes in patient condition

• Support expanded roles including charge nurse, preceptor, and committee participation as needed

• Deliver safe, high-quality care with focus on service excellence, professional development, and patient outcomes

• Active New York State RN License (required)

• Minimum 2 years RN experience

• Telemetry experience required

• BLS (AHA only) required
