Job Title: Level 2 Registered Nurse Med/Surg Float Profession: Registered Nurse Specialty: Med/Surg Duration: Varies Shift: Rotating shifts Hours per Shift: 12 Experience: Two years of experience required License: RN License (NY License only) Certifications: BLS (American Heart Association only) Must-Have: Telemetry experience required Description: Through clinical practice, service excellence, professional development, and research and evidence-based practice, the Level II Registered Nurse is accountable for the provision of competent care based on established standards. The Level II Registered Nurse assumes an expanded role, which may include charge nurse, preceptor, and committee member responsibilities. Candidates must have telemetry experience. An RN license is required and must be valid in New York only. A BLS certification from the American Heart Association is mandatory. Two years of nursing experience is required for this position. This role includes rotating shifts with every other weekend and holidays as needed.
