What You’ll Do As a Direct Support Professional , you’ll play a vital role in helping individuals achieve their personal goals and thrive in their communities. Your responsibilities will include: Providing personalized support to individuals in their daily activities, including personal care, meal preparation, and household tasks. Assisting with community integration by accompanying individuals to appointments, social events, or recreational activities. Encouraging and fostering independence by teaching life skills such as budgeting, cooking, or navigating public transportation. Monitoring and ensuring the safety and well‑being of individuals at all times. Documenting and reporting progress, challenges, and any incidents in a timely and accurate manner. Collaborating with team members and families to create a supportive and nurturing environment. What We’re Looking For We’re seeking compassionate, reliable, and dedicated individuals who are committed to making a difference. To succeed in this role, you’ll need: At least 1 year of experience working with individuals with intellectual or developmental disabilities, or in a related field. Strong communication skills and the ability to build meaningful relationships. Patience, empathy, and a positive attitude. The ability to work independently and as part of a team. A valid driver’s license and reliable transportation (if applicable to the role). Why Join Us?
