Human Resources Manager, Air Comfort Service Group West Babylon, New York Human Resources Manager Full-Time Onsite –West Babylon,NY Monday–Friday |8:00AM –5:00 PM As the Human Resources Manager, you will play a key rolein leading day-to-day HR operations, champion our team members, and keep our organization compliant, supported, and running smoothly.This rolethriveson variety, takespride in getting the details right, andisatrusted partner to both leadership andteam members. What You’ll Do Lead day-to-day HR operations and coordinate departmental goals, processes and programs. Drive companywide recruiting, hiring, and onboarding to attract and retain top talent. Support performance management, team member reviews, and professional development initiatives. Manage weekly payroll processing, including rates, taxes, deductions, and quarterly and year-end filings. Administer benefit programs, insurance plans, and COBRA, including renewals and enrollment. Ensure compliance with federal and state HR laws, EEO/Affirmative Action plans, prevailing wage, and required reporting. Oversee OSHA, safety, and training requirements, along with Workers’ Compensation administration and reporting. Maintain compliance with union and collective bargaining agreements. Maintain the Employee Handbook, process documentation, and the Learning Management System (LMS). Safeguard confidential information and uphold the company’s Confidentiality Agreement. What You Bring Education & Experience: High School diploma or GED with 5-8 years of HR related experience. SHRM certification – SHRM-CP or SHRM-SCP (preferred). Proven ability to multitask and prioritize in a fast-paced environment. Strong attention to detail, organization, and follow-through. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. A collaborative, team-oriented approach. Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook.
