Phlebotomist

This position brings meaningful work and growth opportunities for a Phlebotomist in Springfield, VA. Schedule: Monday‑Friday 7:00am–3:30pm and every other Saturday 7:30am–11:30am. Job Responsibilities Perform blood collections by venipuncture and capillary techniques for all age groups. Collect specimens for drug screens, paternity tests, alcohol tests, etc. Enter patient information accurately and in a timely manner. Process billing information and collect payments as necessary. Prepare specimens for testing and analysis. Maintain patient and specimen information logs. Provide superior customer service to all patients. Carry out administrative and clerical duties as required. Travel to additional sites when needed. Minimum Qualifications High school diploma or GED or equivalent. Phlebotomy certification or completion of an accredited training program, or three months or more experience as a phlebotomist. Preferred Qualifications One year or more of phlebotomy experience. Additional Job Standards Phlebotomy certification or completed training program must be from an accredited agency. Proven track record in delivering exceptional customer service. Strong written and verbal communication skills. Ability to work independently or in a team setting. Comfortable working under minimal supervision. Reliable transportation. Flexibility to work overtime as needed. Must pass a standardized color blindness test. Pay Range US$17.75 – $26.00 per hour. All offers are based on the candidate’s skills and prior relevant experience, applicable degrees/certifications, and market data.
