Record Center Specialist 1

Record Center SpecialistWe are seeking a dedicated individual to join our team as a Record Center Specialist. This role involves physical tasks such as kneeling, squatting, reaching, and bending forward frequently. The primary responsibilities include moving, arranging, lifting, and loading storage boxes, bins, and totes weighing from 24 lbs to over 100 lbs, both manually and using hand carts.ResponsibilitiesProcess orders and move boxes of files, books, binders, backup tapes, and other materials.Lift, carry, and arrange boxes while standing, stooping, crawling, kneeling, and twisting.Read and write English to process incoming and outgoing orders.Use the proprietary computer system to track orders and determine the location of boxes.Operate handheld scanners, hand trucks, and pallet jacks on uneven and concrete surfaces.Climb and balance on ladders, and lift boxes weighing up to 100 lbs without assistance.Load and shrink-wrap pallets at ground level or on carts, and load pallets onto trucks.QualificationsAbility to walk, stand, kneel, squat, stoop, and bend for extended periods.Capability to work without assistance to grip, lift, push, pull, and carry boxes.Proficiency in operating hand carts, pallet jacks, and various material handling aids.Protective footwear meeting ASTM F2413-11 standards with a slip-resistant rating of "Better or Best" is required.Work ScheduleNormal work schedule is 5 days a week, 9 hours a day, including a 30-minute lunch and two 15-minute breaks. 8:00 AM - 04:30 PMBenefits PEAK's benefit offerings available for our associates include medical, dental, vision, Flexible Spending Account (FSA), Dependent Care Savings Account (DCA), and 401K plan.
