About the Role

Our client is seeking an experienced Business Solutions Leader to serve as a strategic technology advisor and business partner for key healthcare operations. This is a senior leadership opportunity for someone who can bridge business strategy and technology execution while driving measurable business outcomes.

This is not a Project Management or PMO-focused role. The ideal candidate will act as a trusted advisor to executive stakeholders, shape technology strategy, manage a portfolio of initiatives, and align IT investments to organizational goals.

Candidates must bring deep healthcare payer experience and expertise across provider network management, payment integrity, clinical operations, business relationship management, and portfolio planning.
What You'll Do
Strategic Business & Technology Leadership

• Partner with executive business leaders to align technology investments with organizational strategy.
• Develop and execute technology roadmaps that support growth, operational efficiency, and business transformation.
• Identify business opportunities and recommend innovative technology solutions.
• Serve as a trusted advisor to business stakeholders, helping shape strategy and drive successful outcomes.

Business Relationship Management

• Build strong relationships across business and technology teams.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to prioritize strategic initiatives and technology investments.
• Challenge existing business processes and identify opportunities for improvement.
• Facilitate communication between business and technical teams to ensure alignment.

Portfolio & Initiative Management

• Manage a portfolio of business and technology initiatives aligned to strategic objectives.
• Translate business needs into technical requirements and actionable IT deliverables.
• Develop business cases, ROI analyses, resource plans, and implementation strategies.
• Oversee initiative delivery from concept through execution and value realization.

Operational Excellence

• Ensure technology solutions deliver measurable business value.
• Support IT demand planning, capacity planning, and performance metrics reporting.
• Promote technology best practices, governance standards, security, and compliance requirements.
• Drive continuous improvement and innovation across healthcare operations.

Required Qualifications
Education

• Bachelor's Degree required
• Master's Degree preferred

Experience

• 10+ years of progressive IT, healthcare, business consulting, or technology leadership experience
• 5+ years of leadership experience
• Healthcare payer industry experience required
