Job Description
As a Security Officer Area Patrol in Richardson TX you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Commercial Real Estate and more. Join Allied Universal as an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a dynamic commercial real estate location where you will monitor assigned areas conduct routine patrols and help to deter security-related incidents through a visible this people-first role you will deliver outstanding customer service support daily operations with clear communication and bring agility reliability innovation teamwork and integrity to every shift.

What Youll Do:
- Provide customer service to tenants visitors and/or staff by carrying out security-related procedures site-specific policies and when appropriate emergency response activities at a commercial real estate location.
- Respond to incidents alarms maintenance concerns and/or critical situations in a calm problem-solving manner documenting observations and reporting unusual activity to the appropriate contacts.
- Conduct regular and random foot and/or vehicle patrols throughout the property including common areas entry points parking areas and perimeter locations with working environments and conditions varying by site.
- Monitor access points and visitor activity to help to deter unauthorized entry support property rules and assist with badge key and/or credential-related processes as directed by site policies.
- Communicate with property management tenants and/or emergency personnel regarding security-related concerns customer service needs and incident information while maintaining a professional presence.
Minimum Requirements:
- Client requires proof of high school diploma or GED.
- CPR certification is preferred.
- A state county or city issued security-related license is preferred.
- Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21 years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal state and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid drivers license will be required for driving positions only.
