About the Role

The Company is in search of a Market President - Commercial Lender to lead the growth and profitability of its banking operations within a specific geographic market. The successful candidate will be tasked with developing and executing market strategies, building and managing key commercial relationships, and leading a local banking team to drive loan, deposit, and revenue growth. This leadership role also involves maintaining strong credit quality, ensuring regulatory compliance, and serving as the senior representative of the bank in the local business and civic community. Applicants for the Market President - Commercial Lender position at the company should have a Bachelor’s degree in a related field, with a preference for finance, business, or accounting. A minimum of 10 years' commercial banking experience, including a significant background in lending and business development, is required. The role demands a proven track record in commercial loan and deposit production, strong credit analysis and relationship management skills, and an established network of business and community relationships. The ideal candidate will have previous experience in managing and developing commercial bankers, a strong understanding of commercial real estate and C&I lending, and excellent leadership, communication, negotiation, and presentation skills. The ability to balance aggressive growth objectives with sound credit and risk management is essential.
