About the Role

The Company is in search of a Market President to join their team. The successful candidate will be responsible for making and servicing a variety of commercial real estate, commercial and industrial, and small business administration loans. This includes developing and managing commercial loan accounts, soliciting commercial clients, and generating a wide range of commercial and real estate loans. The role also involves contributing to deposit growth, collecting and analyzing customer information, and holding accountability for the market's commercial lending performance. The Market President will be expected to participate in strategic planning, develop and implement marketing and selling strategies, and manage a team of Relationship Managers. Applicants for the Market President position at the company should ideally have a bachelor’s degree in banking, finance, or a related field, with a preference for those with seven or more years of direct lending or credit support experience. A proven track record in generating commercial real estate and commercial and industrial loans, along with formal credit training or underwriting experience, is highly valued. The role requires a candidate with extensive knowledge of commercial banking products and services, as well as a thorough understanding of federal and state regulations. Strong analytical, communication, and interpersonal skills are essential, as is the ability to expand client relationships and cross-sell bank products. The Market President will also be expected to represent the bank in the community through professional and civic involvement.
