Head of Benefits

Our client is a consulting/engineering firm is looking for a Head of Benefits to come in office hybrid in New York or NJ.

Responsibilities

• Partner with executive leadership, to develop and improve benefits strategies across the U.S. and Canada.
• Serve as the primary strategic advisor on employee benefits, providing guidance on plan design, market trends, and program enhancements.
• Evaluate and recommend benefits changes to improve employee experience, competitiveness, and alignment with organizational objectives.
• Lead benefits transformation initiatives focused on improving offerings and optimizing value for employees and the business.
• Advise senior stakeholders on benefits-related decisions, leveraging deep expertise in U.S.-centric benefits programs and regulatory considerations.
• Collaborate with People Services and HR leadership to ensure effective benefits governance while maintaining separation from day-to-day employee support activities.
• Function as an individual contributor and subject matter expert, influencing benefits strategy without direct reports or operational responsibilities.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree
• 8+ years of experience in Benefits
• Must have US & Canada Benefits experience

The annual base salary range is $150,000 to $180,000. Actual compensation offered to the successful candidate may vary from posted hiring range based upon geographic location, work experience, education, and/or skill level, among other things. Details about eligibility for bonus compensation (if applicable) will be finalized at the time of offer.
