CVOR Tech - Operating Room

Location: Portland, Maine

Assignment Duration: This is a 13-week contract position.

Schedule: Shifts available include:

• Days: 7:00 AM - 7:00 PM
• Evenings: 11:00 AM - 11:00 PM
• Nights: 7:00 PM - 7:00 AM

Job Description: We are seeking a Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) to join our Operating Room team. The ideal candidate will have at least two years of experience preferably in a Level 1 trauma setting and will be responsible for assisting in surgical procedures while ensuring a sterile environment.

Responsibilities:

• Assist the surgical team during operations.
• Prepare and maintain the sterile field throughout the procedure.
• Handle surgical instruments and supplies efficiently.
• Work collaboratively with team members to ensure patient safety and optimal outcomes.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure:

• At least 2 years of experience in a surgical setting, with Level 1 trauma experience preferred.
• Certification as a Surgical Technologist (CST).
• Experience in specialty areas such as General, GU/GYN, Orthopedic trauma, Neurosurgery, ENT, Pediatrics, Plastics, and Endovascular is highly preferred.
