Occupational Therapist School Setting - Red Bluff, CA

Step into a rewarding role supporting students across a diverse K-8th grade caseload! This contract opportunity is designed for those passionate about Occupational Therapy in educational settings, with full-time hours for the entire school year. You'll work on-site with the flexibility to explore a hybrid schedule, serving a manageable caseload of 55 students and making a lasting impact.


Bring your skills in school-based, home health, and teletherapy OT to a setting where your expertise matters. You will help young learners build skills for success both in and out of the classroom, utilizing best practices in therapy and innovative interventions.


Qualifications/Desired Experience:

• Master's degree in Occupational Therapy (or equivalent)
• Active OT license in California
• Experience in one or more settings: schools, home health, teletherapy, or healthcare
• Previous work with K-8th grade students preferred
• Ability to collaborate effectively with educators, families, and support staff
• Strong problem-solving and communication skills
• Familiarity with IEP procedures and documentation

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct comprehensive assessments and develop individualized therapy plans
• Deliver effective OT services onsite, with opportunities for hybrid work as needed
• Support students in developing fine motor, sensory, and self-help skills
• Maintain detailed records and contribute to IEP meetings
• Work across a caseload of approximately 55 students in grades K-8
• Partner with multidisciplinary teams to promote student participation and achievement
