Physical Therapist - Red Bluff, CA

Schedule & Hours:

• Day shifts
• Occasional Saturday coverage for orthopedic patient visits
• Holidays off

Key Qualifications:

• Active California Physical Therapy license required
• Current BLS certification
• Minimum 2 years of relevant experience in a hospital or home health environment
• Proficiency with EMR systems (Netsmart experience preferred)
• Ability to perform Start of Care (SOC) visits, particularly for orthopedic patients

Essential Responsibilities:

• Provide in-home physical therapy services across Tehama County
• Manage a caseload of approximately 5 visits per day
• Collaborate with an interdisciplinary team-including nurses, aides, and intake staff-to coordinate patient care
• Work primarily with geriatric and post-orthopedic joint replacement patients
• Complete accurate documentation using a provided laptop and EMR system
• Participate in care planning and quality improvement initiatives
• Mileage is provided for work-related travel (average of 40 miles per day; expected to decrease as team expands)
