Job Summary:
ICU - Intensive Care Unit in the area. This position involves providing high-quality, patient-centered critical care to a designated group of critically ill patients. The registered nurse will deliver care based on nursing theory, research, and organizational standards, collaborating with an interdisciplinary healthcare team to ensure optimal patient outcomes.

Job Details:

• Schedule: Days shift, 11.5 hours per day, every other weekend, minimum 34.5 hours per week.
• Required Qualifications: Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred; Associate degree in nursing considered with relevant experience or active matriculation in a BSN program. Valid New York State Registered Nurse (RN) license in good standing upon hire. BLS (American Heart Association), ACLS (American Heart Association). Minimum 0 years of critical care or telemetry nursing experience; 1 year travel nursing experience preferred for travel positions.
• Preferred Qualifications: EPIC electronic medical record experience; experience in critical care or telemetry nursing; demonstrated clinical competence in patient assessment, care planning, and patient education.
• Additional Information: The unit census averages 8 beds, with staffing guidelines of 1:2. The position involves performing charge nurse duties, coordinating supplies and staff, and facilitating patient throughput. Emphasis on clinical documentation, safety, quality improvement, and interdisciplinary collaboration. The assignment begins on 10/26/2026 and concludes on 12/26/2026.
