New to State candidates who are hired into the minimum salary of the classification or to the minimum of an alternate range when applicable. # of Positions : 1 Work Location : Sacramento County Telework : Hybrid Job Type : Permanent, Full Time Job Description and Duties Under close supervision of the Staff Management Auditor, the Staff Services Management Auditor performs a full range of varied analytical staff work in investigations as well as compliance and management audit functions for the Department of State Hospitals (DSH). Audits and investigations require a high level of independence and a thorough knowledge of applicable laws, regulations, policies, and procedures. The Staff Services Management Auditor will develop a knowledge base of, but will not be limited to, Generally Accepted Government Auditing Standards and indicators of fraud consistent with guidance provided by the Association of Certified Fraud Examiners and will follow the Mandatory Guidance of the International Professional Practices Framework (Red Book).
