A part-time pharmacist opportunity is available in a mail order pharmacy setting with a focus on accuracy and regulatory compliance. This role offers a 2-day per week schedule with flexible shifts within operating hours, ideal for new graduates and experienced professionals alike.

Responsibilities:

• Verify prescriptions accurately and efficiently to ensure patient safety
• Ensure compliance with all state and federal pharmacy regulations
• Oversee the dispensing workflow in a mail order environment to maintain efficiency
• Maintain accurate documentation and uphold quality assurance standards
• Collaborate with pharmacy staff to guarantee timely order fulfillment

Qualifications:

• Active Ohio Pharmacist license in good standing
• No history of negative licensure actions
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy
• Ability to work effectively within a mail order pharmacy setting
• Previous prescription verification experience is preferred but not required
• New graduates are encouraged to apply with a one-year commitment; licensure fees will be covered

Schedule:

• Monday – Friday: 9:00 AM to 7:00 PM
• Saturday: 10:00 AM to 4:00 PM
• Sunday: Closed
• Flexible scheduling available for part-time within these hours

Additional Details:

• This is a contract position located in Athens, Ohio
• Competitive hourly compensation in the $55–$60 range
