RN Operating Room

Role Overview This position involves providing perioperative nursing care in an Ambulatory Surgical Center, focusing on procedures like Ophthalmology, Pain, and Podiatry. Responsibilities Prepare operating rooms with surgical instruments, supplies, implants, medications, and equipment. Assist with room setup and maintain sterile fields following infection control standards. Perform as scrub and/or circulator during surgeries, anticipating the needs of the surgical team. Ensure the smooth functioning of the operating environment to support patient safety and efficient procedures. Qualifications High School Diploma or GED required; 2-year/Associate Degree in nursing mandatory; Bachelor's Degree preferred. At least one year of recent operating room experience; Interventional Radiology experience considered. Current RN licensure in the appropriate state; ACLS and PALS preferred.
