Network Engineer

Network EngineerWe are seeking a skilled Network Engineer to support the implementation, operation, and maintenance of A10's enterprise network infrastructure. This role is responsible for ensuring high availability, performance, and security across data centers, campus, and cloud environments, supporting business-critical operations.Key Responsibilities:Deploy and manage LAN/WAN, wireless, and data center networksConfigure and manage routers, switches, firewalls, and load balancersMonitor network performance, troubleshoot issues, and drive resolution with limited oversightSupport Cisco ACI Fabric in datacenters (Spine & Leaf Infrastructure)Support Cisco SD-Access Campus, including Wi-Fi 7Lead the development of enterprise network health across A10 enterpriseImplement network security measures (VPNs, ACLs, IDS/IPS, segmentation)Support cloud networking (AWS, Azure, OCI) and hybrid environmentsPerform network capacity planning and optimizationMaintain documentation for network architecture and configurationsCollaborate cross-functionally with IT, security, and DevOps teams on infrastructure projectsParticipate in on-call rotation and incident responseRequired Qualifications:Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field (or equivalent experience)5-7 years of experience in network engineering or administrationStrong knowledge of TCP/IP, routing, and switchingHands-on experience with Cisco, Juniper, Arista, or similar vendorsFamiliarity with firewalls (Fortinet, Check Point, etc.)Experience with network monitoring tools (SolarWinds, Nagios, etc.)Cisco SD-Access FabricCisco ACI FabricPreferred Qualifications:Industry certifications (CCNA, CCNP, JNCIA, etc.)Experience with automation tools (Python, Ansible, Terraform)Knowledge of SD-WAN and network virtualizationExperience with container networking (VLAN, VXLAN)Exposure to SASE-VPN architectureKey Skills:Strong troubleshooting and root cause analysis skillsProven ability to work independently and effectively with cross-functional teamsAbility to understand multiple network topologies and trace site locations to troubleshoot issuesClear communication and documentation skillsAbility to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environmentTargeted compensation guideline: Up to $145,000. Compensation will vary based on number of factors, including market demand for specific skills, role type, job level, and individual qualifications.
