Emergency Department RN - Stillwater - Per Diem/Casual

Schedule: This is a per diem/casual position. There are a variety of 8 or 12 hour shifts available throughout the day, any day of the week including weekends!

Location: Hospital setting in Stillwater, MN.

Pay rate:  Up to $85/hour Depending on Experience!

What we ask of you:

• Perform patient centered, safe, effective and timely patient care based on the specific needs of ED patients within the scope of a registered nurse.
• Communicate effectively with ED patients and families, communicate updates in a timely manner.
• Participate as an effective unit and nursing department member.
• Establish and maintain effective and collaborative working relationships with other health care team members and across the organization.
• Maintain and update clinical knowledge including certifications as appropriate.

 

Required Skills/Qualifications:

• Bachelor/Associate's Degree in Nursing.
• Licensed as an RN by Minnesota Board of Nursing or has a Wisconsin RN License and Minnesota Boarder State Registry.
• Must have at least 1 year of experience in an acute care setting.
• Previous emergency department/critical care experience is preferred.
• Must have BLS certification through American Heart Association (AHA) or American Red Cross (ARC).
• Must have ACLS and PALS certifications.
• Must have strong organizational, multi-tasking and communication skills with a customer-service orientation.
