Housekeeper Year Round

This is a year-round opportunity: stay through the slow months with adequate pay and help us prepare for the 2027 busy season.

Job summary

We are hiring year-round housekeepers for vacation rental properties in Gulf Shores and Orange Beach. This is not a seasonal-only job. We want cleaners who will stay with us through the slow months as we build a strong, dependable team for 2027.

This role is for someone who takes pride in their work, has a positive attitude, and pays close attention to detail. Our focus is quality and consistency: take the time to do the job right every time. Detail-oriented cleaners who follow our protocol earn the most.

We pay per clean, not hourly. Two cleans a day typically pays $160-$400, depending on the properties assigned and your ability. On average, cleaners working with us earn around $1,000 per week. Weekly earnings may go up or down based on availability, workload, and skill. We keep pay adequate in the slower months so good cleaners do not have to leave and come back.

What you will do

• Clean and reset vacation rental properties according to Alabama Getaway standards.
• Follow the required cleaning protocol and property-specific instructions.
• Report damage, missing items, maintenance concerns, and supply needs promptly.
• Complete assigned cleans within the turnover window without sacrificing quality.
• Communicate clearly with the housekeeping team and respond to follow-up requests.

Training

Experience is welcome, but every housekeeper learns our method. All team members complete paid training on our protocol before working independently. Applicants without experience may still apply if they are dependable and willing to learn our way.

Schedule and compensation

Schedule: Typically 9:00 a.m.-4:00 p.m.; weekends and holidays are part of vacation-rental operations.

Compensation: Paid per clean. Two cleans may pay $160-$400; average weekly earnings are around $1,000 and vary by availability, workload, and skill.

Requirements

• Reliable transportation and a valid driver's license.
• A dependable phone and the ability to receive assignments and updates.
• Ability to work independently, move between properties, lift supplies, and perform physical cleaning tasks.
• Reliable weekend and holiday availability as scheduled.
• Commitment to staying through the slower months, not only peak season.
