Inventory Control

Inventory ControlResponsibilities:Conduct timely and accurate cycle counts to maintain inventory accuracy.Maintain and organize inventory bin locations.Ensure all inventory control procedures and processes are followed consistently.Analyze inventory data and prepare reports for management.Identify opportunities to improve inventory accuracy and operational efficiency.Receive and process incoming materials.Label inventory and maintain proper product identification.Process inventory adjustments as needed.Enter and receive inventory transfers accurately.Assist customers with product inquiries and inventory-related needs.Collaborate with the Inventory Control team to support daily operations.Maintain a high level of organization, attention to detail, and accountability.Qualifications:Highly organized with strong attention to detail.Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.Reliable, professional, and self-motivated.Ability to remain focused and observant when analyzing data and posting inventory transactions.Skilled at identifying and resolving potential errors and discrepancies.Knowledge of building materials is preferred.Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook.Comfortable working with data, reports, and inventory systems.Ability to work independently and as part of a team.Willingness and ability to perform hands-on, physical work as required.Overview:We are a large corporate industry leader in building supplies employing over 800 friendly people on Long Island, Connecticut, Rhode Island, and Massachusetts. For compliance purposes for RI transparency, the expected salary range is $24.00 - $27.00.
