Utility Worker I & II - Water Distribution

Job Duties The Utility Worker I & II in Water Distribution reports to the Water Distribution Supervisor. The primary job duties of this position include: Perform installation, maintenance, inspection, and repair work on the water distribution system Operate a variety of equipment, machinery, and tools used in department projects. Perform technical duties locating underground water assets in public streets, alleys, utility easements, and right-of-way using GIS maps. Responsible for completing vehicle inspection forms and daily work logs. Operate heavy equipment, including excavation equipment, backhoe, and vac truck Subject to emergency call-out and must be able to work overtime, including nights, weekends, holidays, and be on stand-by as required. Other duties as assigned. The salary range shown is the minimum for Worker I and the maximum for Worker II. The range for each level is listed below the requirements.
