This role acts as a liaison between production staff and management, helping to coordinate workflow, train team members, resolve issues, and implement continuous improvement initiatives.Key Responsibilities:Supervise and coordinate daily activities of production associates to meet production schedules and quality standardsMonitor production processes and adjust schedules as needed to ensure timely outputEnforce safety regulations and ensure a clean and organized work environmentTrain, mentor, and support new and existing team members to enhance productivity and skill levelsConduct quality checks to ensure products meet company specificationsTroubleshoot production issues and collaborate with maintenance or management to implement solutionsRecord and report production data, including output, downtime, and resource usageAssist with inventory tracking and material handlingLead daily shift meetings to communicate expectations, priorities, and updatesSupport continuous improvement efforts and suggest ways to optimize production processesQualifications:High school diploma or equivalent required; associate or technical degree preferred2+ years of experience in a production or manufacturing environment, with at least 1 year in a leadership or team lead roleStrong understanding of production processes, quality control standards, and safety protocolsExcellent communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skillsAbility to lead by example and motivate a team in a fast-paced environmentProficient in using basic computer systems and production reporting tools.
