Physical Security Specialist

Job Description
You will:
- Direct regional facility physical security programs (perimeter, entry/exit, access control, internal security, and security planning).
- Lead strategic and programmatic planning and implementation on all physical security matters.
- Manage security operations to protect personnel, property, facilities, operations, and materials from unauthorized disclosure, misuse, theft, threats, assault, vandalism, espionage, sabotage, and loss.
- Work collaboratively and proactively with Facilities Manager and Health and Safety Manager to support sound security controls for the region to ensure the protection of EPA employees and property.
- Design, deliver, and facilitate formal and informal training on physical security procedures, security awareness, Occupant Emergency Plans, and Continuity of Operations, tailored to the specific needs of the facility and program.
