Sterile Processing Tech

Schedule

Shift: 5x8, Monday - Friday from 07:30 to 16:00.

Assignment Details

Guaranteed hours: 72 hours per 2 weeks; may be called off for one 8-hour shift per 2 weeks. Orientation: 40 hours. No scheduled weekends or on-call requirement.

Requirements

• Minimum 1 year of sterile processing experience or first-timers accepted.
• Charting experience required.
• References: 2 within the last 3 years covering at least 1 year of work.
• Required certification: CST; HSPA or CBSPD also required.

Responsibilities

• Instrument and sets assembly.
• Case cart preparation.
• Sterilization and wrapping of instruments.
• Operation of washers and sterilizers.
• Monitoring of high-level disinfection and sterilization processes.
• Documenting equipment cleaning activities.

Parking details will be provided. Local candidate rule: permanent address must be at least 50 miles from the facility.
