Seeking a dedicated and compassionate Certified Occupational Therapist Assistant (COTA) for a contract opportunity in a rehabilitation setting. The COTA will work under the supervision of a licensed Occupational Therapist to help patients regain independence, improve functional abilities, and enhance their overall quality of life through individualized therapeutic interventions.

SHIFT DETAILS

• Shift Time: 8:00 AM 4:30 PM
• Meal Break: 30 Minutes
• Day Shift
• Schedule: Monday through Friday

GUARANTEED HOURS & PAY

• Guaranteed Hours: 36 Hours Per Week
• Pay Rate: $39.00 - $45.50 per hour

REQUIREMENTS

• Active Certified Occupational Therapist Assistant (COTA) License/Certification in good standing
• Graduate of an accredited Occupational Therapy Assistant program
• Current CPR/BLS certification preferred
• Previous experience in rehabilitation, skilled nursing, outpatient, acute care, or home health settings preferred
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work effectively within an interdisciplinary healthcare team
• Knowledge of occupational therapy techniques, therapeutic exercises, and adaptive equipment
• Strong documentation and organizational skills
• Commitment to patient-centered care and positive rehabilitation outcomes

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Implement treatment plans developed by the supervising Occupational Therapist
• Assist patients with activities designed to improve independence and daily functioning
• Provide therapeutic exercises and activities to enhance strength, coordination, balance, and mobility
• Educate patients and caregivers on therapeutic techniques and adaptive equipment
• Monitor patient progress and communicate findings to the Occupational Therapist
• Maintain accurate and timely treatment documentation
• Ensure patient safety during all therapy sessions
• Collaborate with therapists, nurses, physicians, and other healthcare professionals
• Assist patients in achieving rehabilitation goals and maximizing functional independence
• Adhere to all professional, regulatory, and clinical standards

• Guaranteed 36 hours per week
• Competitive pay rate of $39.00 - $45.50 per hour
