Licensed Child & Adolescent Mental Health Therapists (40hr/wk, Full-time, California)

We're hiring California -licensed mental health therapists at Handspring. Join our fully remote team, earning a $80-85k base salary while conducting an expected average of 22-24 weekly sessions (with a caseload of 28 clients), plus sign-on bonus, potential to earn up to $10k more annually. Enjoy full healthcare benefits, PTO/sick days, CEU coverage, and work-from-home support. What you’ll do Work 40 hours a week, including: 28 hours dedicated to therapy sessions. Typically, we expect therapists to conduct an average of 22-24 sessions per week . You will be assigned a caseload of up to 28 clients 12 hours dedicated to administrative tasks Provide weekly psychotherapy using CBT and other evidence-based practices to children ages 8-17 and young adults over age 18 years Participate in weekly 1-on-1 case consultations, weekly team consultations, peer-only huddles, and ongoing professional development programming. These programs offer opportunities for you to engage and collaborate with other therapists Complete clinical notes and documentation in a timely manner Communicate with your client’s pediatricians, school counselors, and other members of their family, as needed Working hours Total Hours: 40 hours per week Clinical Care Hours: 28 hours per week Any 18 hours during the following times: Monday–Thursday: 4:00pm–8:00pm PST Friday: 4:00pm–6:00pm PST Saturday: 11:00am-1:00pm PST 10 hours can be scheduled at your discretion any time between 12:00pm–4:00pm PST, Monday through Friday Administrative Hours: 12 hours per week. This is a salaried position with competitive compensation and full benefits We offer career growth opportunities that allow our therapists to assume leadership positions at Handspring We’re an innovative, growing company that uses technology to (1) streamline day-to-day administrative tasks for our therapists and (2) improve clinical care through our online patient portal, where children and families can access education materials and complete journals and rating scales to track client progress We handle scheduling with clients so you don’t have to spend time trying to manage calendars Who we are looking for: Licensed mental health professionals with at least 3 years post-graduate experience providing psychotherapy Active unrestricted license in California Required license types: Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor (LPCC), Licensed Marriage & Family Therapist (LMFT) Must reside in the Pacific Time Zone (PT) Ability to work independently with a strong interest in collaboration and learning Clinical experience working with young people and their families Knowledge of and/or some training in evidence based mental health treatments Comfort with using and learning new technologies, including Zoom, Office, electronic health record systems, and other team collaboration tools Must not have opted out of Medicare Compensation: You will be a W2 employee with the opportunity to earn a total compensation between $83,000 and $98,000 a year.
