Overview
Registered Nurse – L&D travel assignment in Hanford, California. Start date 07/13/2026 for 13 weeks. Weekly pay range $2,280–$2,470 per week. Shift: Nights, 3x12-hour shifts. This assignment supports an obstetrics unit that provides antepartum/antenatal and postpartum/postnatal care for maternity patients and normal newborns; labor and delivery is not included.

Responsibilities
- Deliver coordinated nursing care for antepartum/antenatal and postpartum/postnatal patients and normal newborns according to established standards and the nursing process
- Assess, monitor, and document patient status; identify variations and escalate as needed
- Administer prescribed medications and treatments; monitor responses and safety
- Supervise and direct activities of various levels of assigned nursing staff; coordinate care with other disciplines
- Educate patients and families on postpartum care and newborn care; participate in discharge planning and care coordination

Requirements
- Active RN license to practice in California (per standard practice for this assignment)
- Experience or demonstrated competency in antepartum/antenatal and postpartum/postnatal care and newborn care
- Ability to supervise nursing staff and coordinate care with interdisciplinary teams
- Strong critical thinking, professional judgment, and independent decision-making
- Availability to start 07/13/2026 for a 13-week travel assignment and to work 12-hour night shifts
- Willingness to work in a hospital maternity unit, with care focused on antepartum/postpartum patients (labor and delivery excluded)
