Founding Engineer

About the Role You'll be a Founding Engineer at Solderable, building the core AI-assisted PCB design tooling and EDA automation platform from the ground up. This is a software-first role with deep hardware roots—you'll own everything from the design tools themselves to manufacturing pipeline integrations and whatever else the business needs. Raw engineering talent and a genuine interest in electronics are what matter most. What You'll Do Build AI-assisted PCB design tools and EDA automation features that ship to users. Integrate manufacturing pipelines and manage the full hardware-to-production workflow. Own full-stack problems across the platform, from backend systems to user-facing tooling. Collaborate closely with the founding team to define product direction and technical strategy. Ship fast, iterate based on user feedback, and solve whatever blockers come up. What We're Looking For Prior experience shipping a physical or hardware product end-to-end. Hands-on PCB design, schematic review, KiCad experience, or embedded systems work. Demonstrable craft obsession—active side projects, strong GitHub presence, or personal hardware builds. Embedded systems or low-level programming experience in C, C++, Rust, or Go. Startup or founder experience; comfort with ambiguity and wearing many hats. Strong software engineering fundamentals—algorithms, systems design, and data structures. #J-18808-Ljbffr Getclera
