Job Title: Commercial HVAC Service Technician Pay Range: $25.00 - $55.00 per hour, based on experience Industry: HVAC (Commercial, Industrial) Office Location: Taylor, MI Service Location: At ECS, maintaining equipment is part of the role; owning the continued improvement of system reliability, customer confidence, documentation, and field execution is the standard. You own the customer outcome from first response through diagnosis, repair, verification, and follow-through. We want an experienced technician who solves difficult commercial and industrial problems and is ready to grow into controls, mentoring, lead responsibility, or field leadership as capability and opportunity align. Diagnose, repair, maintain, and improve commercial and industrial HVAC systems with urgency, discipline, and sound technical judgment. Respond to customers clearly, set expectations, and protect trust even when the final repair cannot happen immediately. Perform preventive maintenance and inspections that identify risk before failure becomes downtime. Create accurate service records, material documentation, and next-step recommendations another team member can act on. Collaborate with project managers, dispatch, controls specialists, and other technicians to deliver a complete solution. Participate in emergency response, on-call rotation, overtime, and occasional weekend work as required. Continue developing through technical, controls, manufacturer, OSHA, fall-protection, and lift training. Minimum 3 years of commercial or industrial HVAC service experience. Strong troubleshooting ability and technical knowledge of commercial/industrial HVAC systems. EPA HVAC certification and a valid driver's license. Strong customer communication, organization, and attention to detail.
