Registered Nurse – Labor and Delivery

Schedule: 12 hour Night shifts | 1845-0715. Every other weekend required. Holiday shifts required in rotation.

Assignment Details: Contract Length: 13 weeks. Guaranteed Hours: 12 hours per shift.

Requirements:

• 2 years of Labor and Delivery experience required; 3+ years preferred.
• Must be willing to float to Med-Surg and take care of pediatric patients.
• RN License required.
• AHA BLS, ACLS, PALS, and NRP certifications required.
• Fetal monitoring class (intermediate or advanced) within the past 24 months.
• Must be fully committed to obtaining PALS prior to start.

Responsibilities:

• Provide high-quality patient care in the Labor and Delivery unit.
• Manage patient assessments and implement nursing care plans.
• Assist with patient education and discharge planning.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to optimize patient outcomes.
• Utilize EMR systems for documentation and record-keeping.
