Call Center Representative

Gardner Health Services is currently recruiting to fill the following Call Center Representative position at the CompreCare Health Center located at 3030 Alum Rock Ave. San Jose, CA 95127.

• Temporary, Full-time, 40 hour/week position. Temporary employees are not eligible to receive medical benefits.

This position handles all aspects of patient registration, eligibility confirmation, appointment scheduling and serves as the front line representative for Gardner's various clinics. The successful Call Center Representative will be detail-oriented and have solid data-entry and computer skills. The positions requires a high level of organization and excellent written and verbal communication. Call Center Representatives are expected to display excellent customer service where active listening and empathy are critical. Previous experience in a medical setting is preferred but not required. Serving as a Call Center Representative is a great way to begin your career in the healthcare industry!

Minimum Qualifications:

The minimum qualifications of the position are listed below. An equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered.

• High School Graduate or GED
• Two years of experience in customer service and/or related clinical environment
• Bilingual in Spanish required
• Related healthcare certifications preferred (such as Medical Administration, for example)
• Working knowledge of medical terminology preferred
