Competitive Pay $23.90/hour 401(K) + company match 10 Paid Company Holidays Paid Time Off Professional training Family-owned business over 100 years in service An opportunity for career advancement, working as part of an empowering workforceShift Schedule: Sunday – Thursday Sunday: 2:00 pm – 10:30 pm (or until finished) Monday – Thursday: 2:30 pm – 11:00 pm (or until finished) Overtime and Weekends required based on business needs.Job Purpose and OverviewAs a Shipper/Receiver you will participate in the distribution warehouse activities related to receiving, storing, selecting, shipping, dispatching, and delivery of products to ensure effective and efficient warehouse operations and product transportation.What Does It Take to be a Shipper/Receiver at Dawn Foods?Below are the minimum qualifications to be a fit for this job.Ability to operate a forklift, pallet jack, electric rider jacks, electric pallet jacks, trailer lift gates and pallet wrap machinesMinimum 6 months of related experience or 1 full year non-related employment experienceMust be able to lift 50+ pound repeatedlyMust be able to tolerate potential allergens: peanut products, egg, dairy, gluten, wheat, and soy.Ability to stand and stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl.Ability to withstand cool and/or cold temperaturesAvailable to work overtime as requiredWhat will you do as a Shipper/Receiver at Dawn Foods?Correctly select, palletize, and shrink wrap customers' orders preparing them for delivery. Receive and stock inbound product in its designated locations. Rotate and replenish current stock in its designated locations. Safely load trailers in an even and productive fashion Ability to understand and operate handheld computer and scanning devices for SAP that is used for all aspects of warehouse operations Maintain cleanliness of entire warehouse and practice safe food handling procedures Perform other related duties incidental to work described herein Support the Circle of Excellence and the Dawn Philosophy of Team DawnPhysical Demands & Work EnvironmentThe physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by a Team Member to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.
