DOCK AND DOOR TECHNICIAN

Hugg & Hall Equipment Company is looking for someone with installation experience, mechanical knowledge, and Dock & Door industry experience to join our team as a Field Dock & Door Service Technician. More information about us can be found below or on our website at About The Position Field Dock & Door Service Techs function as part of the Warehouse Products Service Team and are responsible for installing, diagnosing, and repairing warehouse docks and doors . In This Role You Will Repair Warehouse Docks and Rollup Doors to bring each customer's facility back to operational safety standards through safety protocols, evaluating repair needs, and communicating those effectively with the customer. Performing New Installation on Dock and Door projects. Effectively communicate with all involved parties about possible downtime and job progress to include the Warehouse Products team so that they may also provide quality customer service and customer communications. Operate in a safe, efficient manner with minimal supervision. PHYSICAL DEMANDS/ENVIRONMENTAL CONDITIONS

This Position will be working in operating facilities and outdoors traveling to customer locations. The employee will encounter varying weather conditions and temperatures. The normal auto hazards will apply. will be frequently working on equipment with potential hazards where appropriate safety equipment and practices are required. must be able to lift 50 pounds. Occasionally may be required to lift items weighing up to 100 pounds. Must be able to push/pull up to 100 pounds. requires standing, walking, twisting, climbing, and crawling. requires bending, stooping, kneeling, or squatting handling/fingering on a daily basis. requires driving a van/truck to and from customer locations must be able to wear safety glasses and safety shoes. must be medically capable of performing all aspects of the job with the maximum amount of safety.
